Terms of service
By creating an account, signing in or otherwise using CredPass, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and any organisation you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
1. The service
CredPass provides two connected modules. Discover is a commercial directory that helps sponsors find and compare contract research organisations and send structured trial briefs. Passport gives volunteers a portable, consent-controlled identity and participation history, and gives CROs and sites a rules-first way to recruit without holding more personal data than a volunteer has released.
2. Accounts and roles
Accounts are issued as volunteer, CRO or site, sponsor, or administrator. Each role sees only the features and records its role and active subscription entitle it to. You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration details, for keeping credentials confidential, and for all activity under your account. Credentials must not be shared between individuals or organisations.
3. Consent-gated access to volunteer data
Volunteer identity documents, medical information and participation history are not visible by default. Access is granted only by an explicit volunteer decision and is purpose-bound, time-limited and revocable. Organisations receiving such access agree to:
- use released data only for the stated study or purpose;
- not retain, copy, export or re-share it beyond the granted scope or period;
- not attempt to re-identify, scrape, bulk-extract or resell platform data;
- honour a revocation immediately and comply with applicable data-protection law as an independent controller of anything they retain lawfully.
Every permitted access is written to the audit trail.
4. Data you contribute
You retain ownership of the records you submit. You grant CredPass a licence to host, process and display them strictly as needed to operate the features you use. You warrant that you have the right to submit those records, and — for CROs and sites contributing participation records — that you have the necessary lawful basis and volunteer consent to do so.
5. Advisory outputs
Matching, participation-interval and verification outputs are advisory only. Final eligibility and dosing decisions rest with the investigator, CRO or site. See the disclaimer for the full statement of limits, which forms part of these terms.
6. Directory listings
Organisations are responsible for the accuracy of their own listings, including phases handled, therapeutic experience, site count, enrolment figures and regulatory history. Misleading listings may be corrected, unpublished or removed. Inclusion in the directory is not an endorsement.
7. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are subscription-based for a fixed period — three months, one year, or a lifetime term — as shown on the pricing page. There are no usage-metered charges, per-unlock fees, per-brief fees or success fees. Fees are stated in Indian rupees and applicable taxes are added at the prevailing rate.
- Access to paid features begins when a subscription is recorded as active.
- You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewal and access ends at the close of the paid period.
- Fees for a period already started are non-refundable except where required by law.
- Invoices and receipts are made available in your billing area. Plan prices may change with notice, effective from your next period.
8. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the platform, interfere with its security, probe or circumvent access controls, use automated agents to harvest records, impersonate another person or organisation, or use CredPass to pressure, mislead or coerce a volunteer. Detailed rules are in the acceptable use policy.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, for suspected misuse of volunteer data, or where continued access presents a legal or safety risk. You may close your account at any time; volunteers may additionally request erasure of their passport data, after which an audit record of the erasure itself is retained.
10. Availability, liability and changes
The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CredPass is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, for lost profits or data, or for clinical, regulatory or commercial decisions taken in reliance on platform outputs; and aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at the platform operator's registered seat having jurisdiction. We may update these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
